About Brandon
At an early age Brandon Jackson was confronted with many of the adversities that impact children of color and of low socioeconomic status. When Brandon was 7 years old he was placed in the foster care system. Like most foster care children, his life was grounded on instability as he frequently transitioned from place to place. Fortunately for Brandon, a wonderful man Walter Jackson adopted him, and believed in him. Most importantly Mr. Jackson taught Brandon to believe in himself as a child full of potential. Brandon embraced the lessons that Mr. Jackson taught him and pursued education as a means of claiming the life that Mr. Jackson taught him that he had a right to have–a life of abundance and security.
